Data and Development Analyst

Job Summary:

The main responsibility of this role is to manage ePLDT Group's data for purposes of storing, processing, integration, visualization, reporting, and modeling. This is in line with ETL processing, Data Warehouse, API Middleware integration, and PowerBI reports. Role will require coordination with different business units to further understand the data and be able to extract meaningful insight that can help drive data-based decision-making and operational efficiencies.

Key Task Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage ETL processes to ensure accurate data availability

2. Extracting data from various financial and operational systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, flat files, APIs)

3. Transforming raw data into structured, analysis-ready formats using scripting or ETL tools.

4. Loading cleaned and validated data into data warehouse or BI models for reporting.

5. Manage data integrations between enterprise applications

6. Working with APIs or middleware tools to streamline data exchange across platforms

7. Ensuring data synchronization, availability, and integrity in integrated environments.

8. Design, build, and manage data warehouse solutions

9. Integrating data from multiple sources to ensure a single source of truth

10. Creating scalable data models and schemas aligned with business requirements

11. Designing and implementing data storage architecture optimized for analytics

12. Design and Build Machine Learning–Driven Dashboards and Analytical Reports

13. Integrate trained ML models (e.g., from Azure Machine Learning or Python pipelines) into reporting layers to enable real-time insight delivery and automated trend analysis

14. Develop dynamic and visually effective dashboards using Power BI, tailored to financial and operational reporting needs.
15. Integrate predictive analytics with narrative-driven insights to clarify the rationale behind model predictions and support informed business decision-making.

Job Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology

Relevant Experience:

o Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes and data pipelines using tools such as SSIS, Talend, Python, or equivalent in a business or enterprise environment; experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Fabric is a strong plus

o Strong background in data modeling and writing efficient DAX measures and calculation.

o Developed and deployed AI-driven analytics and reporting solutions using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Python to transform complex financial and operational data into actionable insights that support business decisions.

o Created predictive and prescriptive models for trend analysis, anomaly detection, and performance optimization using Python and Azure Machine Learning.

Knowledge / Training:

o Technical Skills:

1. ETL & Data Integration: Skilled in designing and automating data pipelines using SSIS, Talend, Python, and Microsoft Fabric Dataflows, integrating data from SAP, Salesforce, APIs and other sources
2. Power BI (Desktop & Service): Advanced proficiency in building interactive dashboards, paginated reports, and managing workspace content.
3. Machine Learning & AI: Hands-on experience applying Python and Azure Machine Learning for predictive modeling, trend forecasting, and anomaly detection.
4. DAX (Data Analysis Expressions): Strong ability to write complex measures, calculated columns, and KPIs for dynamic financial analysis
5. Data Modeling: Expertise in creating star schemas, managing relationships, and optimizing data models for performance.

Certification / License:

Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) – is a plus
