JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Logistics Manager in managing and monitoring daily logistics operations, including import/export shipments and customs compliance.
  • Oversee the Logistics Liaison Coordinators to ensure smooth execution of tasks and efficient communication with stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all customs-related documentation and transactions comply with applicable regulations.
  • Assist in preparing and processing customs permits, clearances, and tax exemption endorsements.
  • Serve as the liaison between logistics providers, customs officials, port authorities, and internal teams to resolve any shipment issues.
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders regarding shipment statuses and regulatory updates.
  • Collaborate with the Logistics Manager to address customs-related concerns and troubleshoot logistical delays.
  • Assist in identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing process improvements.
  • Help manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, customs officers, customs brokers, and vendors.
  • Ensure accurate monitoring and reporting of financial transactions related to logistics operations.
  • Provide technical advice on customs regulations and logistics best practices to the Logistics Liaison Coordinator.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and provide insights to the Logistics Liaison Officer for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of import/export transactions and compliance reports.
  • Support the team in ensuring all documents are properly organized and accessible for audits or inspections.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Logistics Manager.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Customs Administration
  • Preferably Licensed Customs Broker
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex logistics operations
  • With at least vendor management skills
  • With extensive experience in import and export shipments, freight forwarding, customs brokerage and logistics.
  • Knowledge of logistics, import and export practices, customs regulations, and trade compliance; HS Code classification, ABMS, PEZA, SBMA systems, VASP, and e-filing systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php30,000.00 per month
