Position Objective:

The role involves providing essential support towards the administration and support in developing the Museum's Learning Programs.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Art Education (or Education), Art Studies,  Art History, Theory or Practice, or extensive equivalent experience
  • A minimum of two to three years of experience in the arts field, whether in its administration.
  • Knowledge of local and global trends in contemporary art and museological discourse
  • Ability to work cohesively with a group of creative individuals
  • Excellent organization skills and impeccable attention to detail
  • Good proven computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Excellent communication and accuracy in written communication
  • Good negotiation skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with diplomacy

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Processes Accountability

  1. Program Coordination and Support

  2. Assists in the design, planning, and organization of training programs for target clients, in collaboration with internal and external partners.

  3. Coordinates training schedules, venues, logistics, and communication with participants and facilitators.
  4. Liaise with key personnel before, during, and after training sessions to ensure smooth implementation.

  5. Instructional support

  6. Assists in developing and updating the training procedure manuals, guides, handouts, and visual materials.

  7. Support in gathering and organizing course content and resource materials as needed.

  8. Curriculum Development

  9. Support research and benchmarking efforts to review, evaluate, and revise curriculum and training content to align with best practices and participant needs.

  10. Assist in identifying training needs through collaboration with other Centers and the management team.

  11. Administrative Functions

  12. Help collect and compile training evaluation forms, feedback and attendance reports.

  13. Prepare summary reports and assist in monitoring program outcomes.
  14. Maintain accurate and organized files related to training programs.
  15. Performs such other duties and responsibilities analogous, germane, or related to and/or implied from the above enumeration of duties and responsibilities.

Financial Accountability

  1. Assists in monitoring training-related expenses and preparing the liquidation reports.
  2. Ensures financial transactions comply with institutional policies.

Market Accountability

  1. Supports in maintaining the commendable reputation of the College.
  2. Supports in ensuring service satisfaction of associates and clients across the institution at all times.
