Kitchen Helper

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, and preparing ingredients as directed by the cook or chef.
• Dishwashing: Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Ensure that all items are returned to their proper places.
• Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash.
• Stock Management: Help with stocking supplies and ingredients, and keep the storage areas organized and properly labeled.
• Assistance: Support the kitchen staff by performing various tasks as needed, including fetching supplies, organizing ingredients, and helping with plating and garnishing.
• Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Inventory Checks: Assist with inventory checks and report low stock or damaged items to the kitchen manager.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus but not required.
• Skills: Basic understanding of kitchen operations, willingness to learn, and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php550.00 per day
