General Objective: As a member of the Procurement Team, this role is responsible for vendor management, document control, procurement of assigned materials, purchase order (PO) typing, and monitoring performance. The main goal is to ensure a continuous supply of materials to support the manufacturing schedule. You will also assist with daily procurement activities, including maintaining databases, files, and reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management: Maintain and update supplier records, assist the Buyer in vendor accreditation and evaluation, and update the database of local and foreign suppliers.
  • Document Controller / Compliance: You will be trained in the Integrated Management System (IMS) and Food Safety policies. You will be responsible for implementing established Procurement Principles and policies, and for maintaining and updating ISO quality records.
  • Procurement of Assigned Materials: This includes purchasing assigned materials, reviewing and prioritizing material requisitions based on lead-time and specifications, and analyzing the suitability of requested materials. You will also search for the best market sources for materials and work to institute cost savings.
  • Purchase Order Issuance: Prepare procurement transaction files and documentation, including reports on Purchase Orders (PO). You will also request the creation of new vendor accounts in Microsoft Dynamics AX & D365 and monitor the status of POs up to delivery.
  • Other Tasks: Responsibilities include monthly and quarterly dashboard performance reporting and taking minutes of meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of any Bachelor's degree in Arts or Sciences, with a preference for Business courses.
  • Experience: The company is open to fresh graduates, and no prior work experience is required. Having relevant work experience is a plus.
  • Skills: Candidates should be computer literate in MS Office and Google Suite. Strong oral and written communication, analytical, time management, and record-keeping skills are necessary.
  • Other Requirements: The candidate must be willing to travel to develop a professional network. A five-day compressed workweek schedule is required, and the role is based on-site in Calle Industria, Bagumbayan, Quezon City.
