DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Support the QAQC Head in overseeing the QAQC team to ensure the effective implementation of quality control processes, including material sampling and testing.

  2. Coordinate closely with the Civil Works Team and promptly inform the QAQC Head of any quality-related issues, facilitating timely resolutions.

  3. Manage and oversee the testing and sampling schedule of QAQC Inspectors to ensure efficiency and avoid delays to construction activities.

  4. Assist in review and monitor all QAQC documentation, test reports, and quality records for accuracy and completeness.

  5. Supervise and guide QAQC Engineers and Inspectors during sampling and witnessing of tests to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.

  6. Immediately report any failing test results to the QAQC Head and ensure remedial actions are properly monitored and documented.

  7. Assist in the punch listing process for identifying defects and deficiencies in completed works, with input from the QAQC Head.

  8. Assist in review of the contractor's QAQC submittals including Quality Control Program and Monthly Materials Reports.

  9. Participate in quality audits, walkthroughs, punch list inspections, and final handover processes.

  10. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and third-party laboratories to witness critical inspections and testing activities.

  11. Collaborate and attend coordination meetings in the absence of the QAQC Head.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

  2. Experience: Minimun five (5) years working experience in the same field.

  3. Licenses (if applicable): Preferably Licensed Engineer

  4. Others:


• Familiar with project management and good communication skills, ISO, ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, PNS, DPWH Standards


• Computer literate, skilled in using MS Office program (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)


• Interpersonal skill, ethical values and commitment to continual improvement
