We are seeking an International Logistics and Vendor Compliance Coordinator in Manila to oversee inbound shipments of consumer electronics from Southeast Asia to the US warehouse.

Job Responsibilities

Inbound Freight & Shipment Coordination

  • Manage international shipments to the U.S. by coordinating with freight forwarders and carriers.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal departments to ensure smooth shipment processes.
  • Assist in preparing and verifying import/export documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping papers.
  • Ensure all shipments comply with U.S. Customs regulations, Partner Government Agency (PGA) requirements, and company policies.
  • Contribute to product classification using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS).
  • Monitor delivery timelines and communicate any delays, risks, or changes proactively.
  • Ensure timely submission of shipping documents and maintain accurate records of all inbound activities.

Vendor Compliance & Chargeback Management

  • Track vendor performance against shipping, documentation, labeling, and delivery standards.
  • Record non-compliance incidents and issue chargebacks with appropriate documentation and corrective actions.

Discrepancy Reporting & Communication

  • Report discrepancies in shipments to the U.S.-based Purchasing and Accounts Payable teams with adequate detail for resolution.
  • Coordinate with teams in China and the Philippines to resolve missing or incomplete shipment information.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with suppliers to address issues and promote adherence to compliance standards.
  • Stay updated on relevant U.S. and international trade compliance guidelines and regulatory changes.

ERP (NetSuite) Data Management

  • Accurately input and maintain inbound shipping data in NetSuite, including shipment statuses, carrier info, documentation, and confirmations.
  • Ensure high data accuracy, whether data is entered manually, by teammates, or imported via integrations.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Support various reporting, documentation, and compliance-related projects within the department.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, or a related discipline.
  • Solid knowledge of international shipping practices, import documentation, and U.S. delivery regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage time effectively across multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with retail supply chains and product information is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years in logistics, international shipping, or vendor compliance.
  • Experience in the consumer electronics industry is preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; experience working across different time zones and cultures.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems, especially for logistics data handling.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data tracking and vendor performance analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Competent in intermediate math, financial calculations, and statistical analysis.

Pay: From Php30,000.00 per month
