  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in quantity take-off software (e.g., Planswift, Bluebeam, CostX) and MS Excel.
  • Skilled in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other project management tools.
  • Knowledge of local construction materials, electrical systems, and labor rates.
  • Core Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy in documentation.
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bill of quantities (BOQ) for electrical and MEPFS components based on design drawings and specifications.
  • Review and validate plans, drawings, and project specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements and scope.
  • Evaluate contractor and supplier quotations, conduct bid analysis, and support procurement processes.
  • Monitor project budgets, track actual costs vs. estimates, and issue cost control reports.
  • Provide value engineering and cost-saving recommendations during design and construction phases.
  • Manage and certify progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
  • Coordinate with project engineers, architects, and contractors to resolve cost-related issues.
  • Assist in project scheduling and resource planning with regard to electrical scope.
  • Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes, safety regulations, and project standards.
  • Prepare periodic reports, cost forecasts, and documentation for stakeholders and management.
