Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Engineer to lead and champion health, safety, and environmental excellence for our hydro power projects. He/she will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive project-wide HSE program, ensuring strict compliance with local regulations, international best practices, and our environmental commitments. This role involves proactive monitoring, regular audits, and robust incident management, as well as the crucial task of training and fostering a strong safety culture among all project personnel, including contractors and subcontractors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health Engineering.

  • At least 3-5 work experience and a Certified safety professional with accreditation from relevant local authorities (e.g., DOLE in the Philippines).

  • With BOSH and Construction Safety and Health (CSH) and First Aid and Basic Life Support certification.

  • Significant experience as an HSE Manager on large-scale construction projects, preferably in heavy civil or power generation, and with experience in emergency response planning

  • Expert knowledge of local and international health, safety, and environmental laws and standards

  • Willing to work in Apayao Cordillera
