JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a principal assistant and consultant in the application of programs to remove the hazards from the workplace and to correct unsafe work practices.
  • Acts in an advisory capacity on all matters pertaining to Environment, Health and Safety for the guidance of the Project Manager or PIC.
  • Coordinates all Environment, Health and Safety training programs for any type of trade and level of workers.
  • Maintains or help in the maintenance of an efficient accident record system and coordinates action taken by work supervisors to eliminate accident causes and hazards in the workplace.
  • Provide assistance to government agencies in the conduct of Environment, Health and Safety inspection, accident investigation or any other related programs.
  • Performs Pollution Control Officer and Radiation Safety Officer duties and responsibilities as appointed by their Head.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a graduate of any 4-5 year course preferably Nursing and Engineering with professional license is an advantage.
  • Preferably with at least 2 year work-related experience in general construction industry.
  • Must completed Mandatory 40 hours training in Construction Occupational Safety and Health in any Safety Training Organizations by DOLE-OSH Center.
  • Knowledgeable in general company policies and procedures, requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Standards and other applicable legislation
  • Must be willing to relocate or assigned in any project site such as Batangas (Calatagan, Sto. Tomas), Quezon (Sariaya), Zambales (Masinloc) and Iloilo.
