Job Summary:

The Engineering Staff is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the efficient operation of the hotel's facilities, equipment, and systems. This role helps provide guests with a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment while supporting the smooth daily operations of the hotel.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repair of hotel facilities, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure equipment and fixtures are in good condition.
  • Support in setting up, testing, and maintaining hotel equipment (elevators, generators, air-conditioning units, lighting, etc.).
  • Maintain records of maintenance work, inspections, and repair schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and hotel policies.
  • Assist in energy conservation efforts and recommend improvements for efficiency.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Chief Engineer or Engineering Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related technical course (Vocational/Engineering).
  • With prior experience in hotel/resort maintenance is an advantage.
  • Knowledge in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and air-conditioning systems.
  • Physically fit, flexible, and willing to work on shifting schedules.
  • Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Job Type: Full-time
