Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

  • Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend solutions for heavy equipment.
  • Oversee maintenance schedules and optimize performance of machinery.
  • Provide technical support to repair teams during breakdowns.
  • Project Management:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales Department, After-sales Staff and Service Mechanics.
  • Manage Service Schedules from scheduling of service repair or maintenance to completion, ensuring timely delivery within the schedule.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on advancements in heavy equipment design and engineering.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure all heavy equipment complies with environmental and operational safety standards.
  • Ensure all Service Teams, Mechanic and Electricians and Service schedules are monitored.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in designing, maintaining, or testing heavy equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong project management and teamwork abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for technical reporting and cross-department collaboration.
  • Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA) and safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Engineering Graduate (Lic. Engr. is a plus)
  • Experience with heavy machinery in industries such as mining or construction.
  • Certification in equipment maintenance or reliability engineering.
