Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish Funding Operations Capabilities.
  • Build and operationalise the funding operations function in the Philippines from the ground up.
  • Develop efficient workflows, controls, and processes to support end-to-end funding and disbursement activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Risk, Legal, Tech) to ensure smooth execution of funding operations.
  • Manage Loan Channeling and Fund Flow.
  • Oversee daily operations related to loan disbursements, repayments, reconciliations, and fund movements across various funding channels.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, partner agreements, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and optimize fund utilization, liquidity management, and reporting.
  • Team Development and Training.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing funding operations team.
  • Define KPIs, set clear goals, and establish performance standards for the team.
  • Foster a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or related certifications are a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial operations, preferably within lending, fintech, or banking sectors.
  • Strong understanding of loan funding workflows, financial controls, and fund flow management.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling operations teams.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations in the Philippines financial services industry is a plus due to regional coverage.
