We are seeking an accountant with minimum 2 years Australian tax experience to complete work based on Australian tax legislation, ie Tax Return Preparation range including and beyond Div7a, CGT to FBT and BAS.

The position is a direct offshore office based in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines 2000.

Office hours are 7:00 am – 3:00 pm Monday to Friday.

Compensation

Basic Salary (Monthly) P 80,000 - P 105,000

Other Allowances Received:

We seek a candidate with strong English and communication skills.

Your daily duties will include, but not be limited to:

· Working with accounting software including but not limited to Xero (predominantly), MYOB, Reckon & Quickbooks

· Tax Return Preparation range including and beyond Div7a, CGT to FBT

· ITR (individual tax returns)

· Bookkeeping and journal entries

· Business Registration

· Audits

· Bank Reconciliation and Business Activity Statement preparation

· Various accounting work ranging from preparation of financial accounts to assisting with tax planning ensuring all tax legislations are adhered to;

· Writing accounting based content for public use such as website blogs

· Attend and participate in regular training sessions to maintain and improve technical knowledge;

· Review of client files to ensure they meet the business standard;

· Ensure all the business policies and procedures are followed at all times to the best of your ability;

· Ensure the business database is updated to the best of your knowledge;

· Ensure all correspondence, internally and externally, is professional and in a way that best represents the business;

Minimum Qualifications

  • Australian tax experience 2 Years Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement preparation
  • Experience with bank reconciliations and journal entries
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with various accounting software is a plus
