Government Liaison Officer – Cagayan de Oro

We are seeking a Government Liaison Officer who will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with regulatory requirements and representing the organization in transactions with agencies such as BIR, SEC, LGUs, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG. The role involves processing permits, renewing licenses, and facilitating smooth coordination with various government offices.

Main Responsibilities

  • Serve as the company's representative in government-related transactions, including permits, registrations, and certifications.
  • Oversee and process renewals of licenses, business permits, and statutory registrations within prescribed deadlines.
  • Prepare and submit documents, reports, and applications to agencies like BIR, SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, and SEC.
  • Keep compliance records and filing systems up to date and well-organized.
  • Provide regular updates to management on the progress of applications, renewals, and compliance obligations.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with relevant government offices and staff.

Qualifications

  • Preferably with experience in liaising with government agencies, though fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or any related field.
  • Must be based in Cagayan de Oro and open to travel for field assignments.
  • Familiarity with government online portals (e.g., eFPS, SSS, PhilHealth) is an advantage.
  • Holder of a valid driver's license.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
