MARKETING OPERATIONS LEAD

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Marketing Operations Lead plays a vital role in the
execution and operationalization of marketing strategies
. This role is responsible for translating strategic plans into efficient, well-managed campaigns and programs across content, events, partnerships, and community initiatives. The Marketing Operations Lead ensures that
campaigns, activations, and community programs are delivered on time, on-brand, and on budget
.

This role demands
cross-functional coordination
, strong project management skills, and the ability to bring creative campaigns to life through process, people, and partnerships. The Marketing Operations Lead will work closely with the Marketing Lead and other team members to
scale presence
, deepen community engagement, and execute marketing initiatives that drive transactions, brand awareness, and loyalty.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign & Content Execution

  • Manage day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels
  • Own the publishing and scheduling of content calendars (social, email, blog)
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver timely assets
  • Ensure consistency in formatting, brand visuals, and messaging flow (in coordination with Content or Comms leads)

Events & Activations

  • Plan and execute on-ground and virtual marketing events, including pop-ups, expos, partnerships, and community-led initiatives
  • Coordinate logistics, vendors, bookings, and internal resources for event execution
  • Drive attendance and post-event engagement

Partnership Enablement

  • Support execution of co-marketing initiatives with partners, lifestyle brands, or other organizations
  • Coordinate with partners on creative needs, timelines, and campaign rollouts
  • Track and report on partnership performance and fulfillment of deliverables

Community Operations

  • Support engagement efforts such as UGC sourcing, community contests, loyalty programs, and ambassador initiatives
  • Maintain and manage brand presence in community channels (e.g., Facebook Groups, WhatsApp)
  • Execute community engagement calendars, user surveys, and feedback loops

Marketing Workflow & Process

  • Create and manage timelines, trackers, and documentation for campaigns and initiatives
  • Streamline workflows between creative teams and others
  • Support cross-functional alignment and documentation (e.g., briefs, post-mortems, campaign logs)

Tools & Performance Tracking

  • Use tools like Google Workspace, Jira, Meta Business Suite, and analytics dashboards to track campaign progress and results
  • Support campaign reporting by gathering results, identifying bottlenecks, and sharing learnings
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow, vendor management, and execution quality

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Experience:
    5+ years in marketing operations, campaign execution, or events/ activations, ideally within a startup, e-commerce, or consumer tech company
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional project management and coordination skills
  • Familiarity with marketing tools (Meta, Mailchimp, Jira, Canva, CMS)
  • Strong eye for detail and operational excellence
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
