Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team in an office-based setup in the Philippines. The role involves designing and managing construction for accessory dwelling units (ADUs), remodeling of main residential units, and small commercial spaces for U.S.-based projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, proficiency in relevant software, and a keen understanding of U.S. building codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

●       Design and manage projects including the construction of ADUs, remodeling residential units, and developing small commercial spaces.

●       Perform structural analysis, site grading, foundation design, drainage, and utility planning.

●       Ensure compliance with U.S. building codes, zoning regulations, and ADA standards.

●       Develop and review detailed construction plans, drawings, and reports using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.

●       Collaborate with architects and allied professionals, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.

●       Analyze site data and project specifications to identify potential risks and propose solutions.

●       Maintain consistent communication with U.S.-based stakeholders to align deliverables with project goals.

Qualifications

●       Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.

●       License: Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC)

●       At least 2 years of civil engineering experience, with expertise in residential and commercial projects.

●       Experience in remodeling and retrofitting main residential units is a strong advantage.

●       Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, SAP2000, and STAAD Pro.). Familiarity with U.S. building design software workflows.
