Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Fleet Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanic with specialization in electrical systems and engine overhauling to maintain and repair our fleet vehicles and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance, particularly focusing on electrical components and engine systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair electrical issues in vehicles and heavy equipment, including wiring problems, alternators, starters, batteries, and lighting systems.

Perform engine overhauls and repairs on diesel engines, including replacement or refurbishment of pistons, valves, gaskets, etc.

Maintain and repair transmission and hydraulic systems.

Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.

Perform on-site repairs and respond to equipment breakdowns in the field.

Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.

Inspect equipment regularly and identify potential safety or mechanical issues.

Coordinate with the maintenance team for parts requisition and repair schedules.
