SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER
Must have a solid communication, technology, analytical and management skills. Should be knowledgeable in all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles. Responsible for corporate liquidity, investments and risk management, all aspects of the cash management function, including the development and management of systems for the effective collection of revenues and payment of obligations. Responsible for providing leadership and direction to ensure designated cash processing, reconciliation and reporting functions are completed in a timely manner while in compliance with policy and regulations.
Key Roles:
Specific tasks for this position will include but are not limited to:
Directs cash management operations to include daily cash administration, management of current accounts and bank relations;
Forecasts, monitors and tracks cash flow periodically (weekly, monthly, quarterly etc.);
Manage daily the inflow and outflow of cash;
Develop strategies to optimize cash position of the company;
Analyze cash flow mechanism of the company and prepare monthly variance reports;
Maintain integrity and accuracy in financial transactions and reports;
Develop investment and loan procedures by analyzing fund needs and surplus funds;
Create new systems to optimize cash inflow from different business activities and reduce the risk of credit losses;
Update accounting database for daily financial transactions;
Maintain a back-up for all the financial data;
Liaise with banks to address any account issues and queries;
Develop financial reports to assist management in making appropriate decisions regarding debts and foreign exchange plans;
Maintain security and confidentiality of financial records;
Develop professional knowledge on cash management processes and techniques;
Assists with project assignments and financial reporting;
Works with Project Management Department, and Sales & Marketing Department to accurately forecast timing and amount of future cash flows;
Evaluate investment options and risk factors before investing surplus funds;
Develop procedures to improve efficiency in cash collections, funds transfers, cash disbursements, month-end account closing activities, and inter-departmental reporting;
Overseeing regulatory government reporting, including tax planning and compliance.
Other task that may be assigned by the President.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in a business related field.
- Requires a minimum of eight (8) years related experience to include at least three (3) years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
- CPA or MBA (graduate degree) preferred, but not required (depending on experience).
