Universal Robina Corporation is looking for an Operator, Production (Shrink Wrap).

What are the Job Responsibilities:

• In charge on downstream operations especially in the shrink wrapper machine in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures
• Follows Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety Procedures, Company rules and regulations
• Coordinate and assist Maintenance Engineer in trouble shooting of assigned machine
• Ensures that all machine parts/accessories and tools are placed and secured before leaving the area.
• Report all matters affecting machine operation and product quality to production supervisor.
• Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out.
• Perform safety checks on the shrink wrapper machine in on and off operations
• Ensure all the materials of the palletizer are given in actual production run.
• Ensures downstream operations checklist is being followed.
• Ensure the safety of the manpower at downstream area
• Ensure that the shrink wrapper machine is in right condition before the actual run.
• Monitors daily machine performance in terms of productivity, efficiency and adherence to Quality Standards.
• Coordinates production activities to related departments.
• Cleans, sanitizes and prepares the machine/s and surrounding area before operations in accordance with standard cleaning and start-up procedures.
• Operates the machine/s in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures.
• Performs On-line QC and checks in process / finished product specifications on the required frequency to ensure good quality products.
• Conducts daily inventory packaging, cleaning materials and consumables to ensure stocks needed materials in the area are ready and available at all times
• Performs corrective maintenance in case of machine stoppage.
• Ensure that regular and preventive maintenance procedures are carried out.
• Accomplishes and signs production reports (forms and logbooks) and inventory reports.
• Ensures proper turnover of the machine operation to his reliever.
• Coordinates with other machine operators.
• Ensures machines are properly shut down and all materials (good and rejects) are properly segregated, weighed, labeled and placed in designated areas.
• Conducts general cleaning of machine and surroundings as per Standard Cleaning Procedures
• Ensures that all machine parts I accessories and tools are in-place / secured and machines are turned-off before leaving the area.
• Generates manual procedures, checklists and all documents needed on the area
• Initiates continuous improvement for the well-being of the company.
• Performs other functions as may be assigned by superior from time to time

What are the Qualifications:

• Licensed Electrical Engineer, fresh graduate are welcome to apply
• Possesses good planning, organizing, directing and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
