About the role

Polystar General Services' is seeking a dedicated and skilled Handyman to join our team in Taguig City Metro Manila. As a key member of our facilities management division, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our client's properties. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career progression within the company.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform general maintenance and repair work, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with building systems and equipment
  • Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment and fixtures
  • Maintain a safe and organised work environment, following all health and safety protocols
  • Respond promptly to emergency service requests and work closely with the facilities management team
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and report on progress regularly

What we're looking for

  • At least 3 years of experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role
  • Strong practical skills and knowledge in a variety of trades, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and basic HVAC
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team
  • Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential hazards
