Your Role:

As a Resource Estimator, you will:
  • Support our Australian client's maintenance operations as an Estimator.
  • Report to the Lead Resource Estimator in Perth and prepare Work Orders for maintenance activities.
  • Review maintenance requests and develop detailed Work Orders.
  • Locate and annotate required engineering drawings (P&IDs, Isometrics, Data Sheets).
  • Estimate labor and material requirements for each task.
  • Define job steps necessary for task execution.
  • Identify necessary tools and equipment.
  • Raise Engineering Queries (EQs) when required.
  • Obtain quotations from third-party contractors and suppliers.
  • Compile all relevant information into a standardized work pack.
  • Experience in oil and gas or maintenance in mining plants is required.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables
  • Mechanical trade experience or background in Oil & Gas maintenance/operations (preferred)
  • Experience working with engineering drawings (P&ID's, Isometrics, Data Sheets)
  • Ability to assess labor, materials, and equipment for maintenance tasks
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Experience in scaffolding or blast & paint operations (a plus, but not mandatory)
  • Mechanical trade experience
  • Experience in maintaining or operating Oil & Gas facilities
  • Maintenance experience in piping, valves, inline equipment, and static equipment
  • Ability to accurately estimate task duration and man-hour effort
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
