The MHE Operator is responsible for safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks. The role ensures accurate movement, stacking, and retrieval of products while maintaining cold chain integrity and adhering to ORCA's safety and operational standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate reach trucks, forklifts, or other MHE safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies.

  • Transport, stack, and organize goods in designated storage locations, ensuring accuracy and care for temperature-sensitive products.

  • Ensure that items being moved or stored match the documentation or system instructions (e.g., picklist, transfer order, or dispatch list).

  • Inspect MHE before and after use; report any malfunction or damage immediately.

  • Support loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring proper product handling and stacking.

  • Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in assigned work areas.

  • Follow cold chain handling procedures and ensure product temperature compliance at all times.

  • Assist in inventory counts, stock relocation, and warehouse replenishment when required.

  • Comply with all warehouse safety, quality, and operational procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least high School Graduate or equivalent.

  • With valid MHE/Forklift Operator License (TESDA or company-certified)

  • Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in cold storage.

  • Physically fit and able to work in cold temperature environments.

  • Knowledge in safe lifting, stacking, and handling practices.

  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, or holidays as required.

Willing to start ASAP is preferred.
