JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering / BS Electrical Engineering
  • Must be a licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
  • With at least two (2) years of work experience as an Engineering Officer
  • With strong understanding of Engineering principles and facilities management practices
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Preferably with BOSH and/or PCO Certification
  • Willing to be assigned in Quezon City or Malabon City

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Implements and supervises the preventive and corrective maintenance of mall equipment and facilities conducted by Mall Engineering Maintenance Personnel such as but not limited to air handling units (AHU), fan coil units FCU), exhaust and fan blowers, pumps and motors, substation, generator sets, cooling towers, sewage treatment plant (STP) and chillers
  • In charge of the verification and checking of the validity of testings and commissionings conducted by the contractors based on MMC acceptable standard design specifications, trade codes, rules, and regulations
  • Supervises, mentors and guides the skilled maintenance personnel and performs administrative tasks such as: manpower schedules and monitoring of duties and overtime works after mall hours for the special projects and tenants' posting
  • Attends to tenants' and mall engineering concerns like water leak, gas leak, HVAC problems, telephone and data connection trouble, electrical concerns, and equipment malfunctions
  • Facilitates compliance of the mall with the requirements that may from time to time as prescribed by the Department of Environmental and Natural Resources (DENR)
  • Supervises the proper operation and maintenance of pollution control facilities of the mall such as Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) for water, Generator Sets for air, Hazardous and Solid Wastes.
