Job Description: QA/QC Engineer

Project Assignment: Design and Construction of Detention Tank using Vertigrow Products and Reinforced Concrete Connector Tanks

Location: Angeles, Pampanga

Reports to: Project Manager

Position Overview

The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures for the detention tank project. The role ensures that all materials, methods, and workmanship comply with approved standards, designs, and client requirements. The QA/QC Engineer will coordinate with project management to ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Planning & Implementation

• Develop and implement the project-specific QA/QC plan in line with company standards.
• Ensure compliance with approved design, technical specifications, and construction standards.

Inspection & Monitoring

• Conduct daily site inspections of civil works, including Vertigrow product installations and reinforced concrete tanks.
• Monitor material quality and workmanship to ensure conformance with approved drawings and methods.
• Review and verify test reports for concrete, steel, and other materials.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare inspection reports.
• Maintain updated quality records, test results, and as-built documentation.
• Submit QA/QC reports to the Project Manager.

Coordination

• Work closely with the Project Manager and Admin workers to resolve quality issues.
• Coordinate with suppliers for material compliance certifications.
• Liaise with the client's QA/QC representatives for inspections and approvals.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure construction works comply with applicable building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Ensuring safe work practices are followed during inspections.

Qualifications

• Licensed Civil Engineer (preferred).
• At least 1–3 years QA/QC experience in construction projects (water structures or civil works an advantage).
• Knowledgeable in construction materials testing, concrete works, and structural quality standards.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD (advantage).
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php45,000.00 per month
