Job description:

  • Greet clients warmly as they enter the salon.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about salon services, prices, and availability.
  • Address client complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date appointment book.
  • Notify stylists and technicians of client arrivals and appointment changes.
  • Manage walk-in clients and ensure they are attended to promptly.
  • Handle cash transactions and process payments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Order and manage inventory of salon supplies and retail products.
  • Keep client records up to date, including contact information and service history.
  • Prepare and maintain staff schedules and manage time-off requests.
  • Assist with payroll processing and record-keeping.
  • Manage salon's social media accounts and marketing efforts.
  • Offer refreshments to clients as they wait.
  • Inform clients about ongoing promotions, new services, and retail products.
  • Follow up with clients after their appointments to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Assist stylists and technicians with their schedules and client needs.
  • Ensure the salon environment is clean, comfortable, and inviting.
  • Coordinate with other staff to manage client flow and reduce wait times.
  • Perform other tasks assigned.

Job summary:

Responsible for managing the front desk operations, greeting clients and phone calls, scheduling appointments and administrative tasks for Salon.
