Reported to by: Receiving Manager, Picking Manager, Dispatching Manager

Targets of the position:

  • Ensures that warehouse and trucks are safe, clean and well organized.
  • Ensures that stores are supplied on time with correct volume of goods.
  • Takes all steps necessary for having lowest possible shrinkage and extremely low cost.
  • Responsible for having the highest possible productivity.
  • Ensures that supply chain is efficient and effective.

Specific powers and Responsibilities:

  • Recruits all warehouse personnel for his area.
  • Decides on job advertisements for his area.
  • Decides on the number of employees in each department
  • Decides on salaries according to the company's salary policy.
  • Decides on the delivery schedule of each store together with Sales Manager.
  • Decides on the holiday programs of his direct reports and their deputies.
  • Decides on investment in warehouse equipment up to be discussed.
  • Decides on planning the route of company truck and driver to save cost and time.
  • Select, proposed, negotiate contracts within his jurisdiction.
  • Respond to issues and complains of store.
  • Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines and requirements.
  • Decides on all expenses and repairs up to -to be discussed.
  • Responsible for all security matters for the warehouse and the trucks.
  • Report all accidents in his department at once.
  • Decides on personal checks of his personnel and is responsible that all doors and gates are closed at the end of the day.
  • Gives advice to the Regional Manager if a new store location is suitable in terms of logistics.
  • Participates in the Regional and LMM (Logistic Managers Meeting)
  • Act as Chairman Ex Officio in Safety Committee.
  • Other assignment that maybe given from time to time.

Job Qualifications:

  • Male or Female
  • at least College Graduate/Bachelors Degree similar or related to warehouse, transport and supply chain management.
  • at least 3 years solid work exposure in logistics industry wherein 3 years is at managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong Leadership and organizational skills
  • Problem solving and Decision making skills.
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Lives within Sucat, Taguig and Pasay areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php80,000.00 per month
