About the Role:

We are actively looking for an IT Applications Lead who will be responsible for overseeing the delivery, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications across Ayala Malls. This role ensures that business-critical systems are implemented effectively, aligned with strategic goals, and maintained for optimal performance. The lead will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with business stakeholders, and drive application lifecycle management across B2B, B2C, and back-office / enabling platforms.

  • Lead Application Delivery:
    Oversee full lifecycle of enterprise applications—from planning to post-implementation support.
  • Architect Enterprise Systems:
    Design integrated solutions covering applications, data, infrastructure, and system integrations.
  • Strategic Alignment:
    Own the solution architecture and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategy.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    Work closely with business units, vendors, and internal teams to gather requirements, design solutions and manage change.
  • Ensure System Reliability:
    Maintain application performance, scalability, and security through proactive monitoring.
  • Manage Support Operations:
    Supervise application support teams and oversee incident, problem, change, and release management.
  • Policy Implementation:
    Enforce IT policies, systems, and procedures across Ayala Malls Group (AMG).
  • Budget Oversight:
    Prepare and monitor IT budgets covering software, infrastructure, network, licenses, and equipment for AMG projects and mall developments.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of enterprise platforms such as ERP (i.e. SAP), POS systems, CRM, mall operations / real estate systems, process automation and customer-facing applications (mobile & web).
  • Knowledge of IT Project Management, Solution Architecture, DevOps, ITIL, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, cloud-based solutions and integration patterns.
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (i.e., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Familiarity with data privacy, security, and compliance standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Preferably with a Master's degree or relevant IT certifications in Solutions Architecture, Project Management, Cloud, ITIL, DevOps or Agile.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT applications delivery, solutions architecture or service management.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale implementations and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in retail, mall operations, real estate, or similar industries is a plus.
