The Role

We are looking for Senior Cloud Engineers who want to grow their careers in the highly in-demand field of cloud computing. Our Cloud Engineers will be part of the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) that will serve as their mentorship and coaching ground so they can transform themselves and others to be the best in their chosen field.

You will lead the project team in helping customers design, build, and operate their cloud infrastructure.

Your Team

• The candidate shall be reporting to the Service Delivery Manager and Technical Leads
• The candidate shall collaborate with Capability Technical Leads for technical resource upskilling, improving technical gaps, or technical support as needed.
• The candidate shall work closely with customers / third-party vendors / onshore counterparts to meet the success criteria for projects.
• The candidate shall work closely with our business partners, the household brands in technology, such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, and Microsoft.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and manage secure cloud infrastructure using industry best practices.
• Build and maintain container orchestration environments (e.g., EKS/ECS) for scalable microservices.
• Configure and support event-streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka), including topics, ACLs, partitions, and monitoring.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) for repeatable deployments.
• Set up and manage cloud networking (VPC design, routing, VPNs, Transit Gateway, firewalls).
• Establish observability for cloud systems (metrics, logs, traces, dashboards).
• Ensure high availability, resiliency, disaster recovery readiness, and NFR alignment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure infrastructure supports performance, scalability, and integration requirements.
• Uphold cloud security standards including IAM, encryption, network isolation, and compliance alignment.
• Produce clear documentation for infrastructure, architecture decisions, and operational procedures

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT/Computing or equivalent

• Strong experience with AWS services (VPC, EC2, EKS/ECS, RDS/Aurora, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).

• Hands-on experience with Kafka or other event-streaming platforms.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, load balancing, DNS).
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing.
• Ability to build reliable, scalable, and secure cloud architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

• Certifications (AWS Architect Pro, DevOps Pro, Security Specialty).
• Experience with distributed systems or event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with multi-account cloud environments or landing zone frameworks.
• Experience with SRE practices or site reliability engineering tooling.
• Knowledge of container security and supply chain security.
