Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Oversight:
  • Assist the Compliance Officer in ensuring that compliance standards are adhered to by all Bank personnel and units.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Branch with the Compliance Department on compliance and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) related concerns.
  • Internal Communications:
  • Cascade internal memorandums and regulatory issuances received from the Compliance Department and other relevant departments of the Bank.
  • Program Implementation:
  • Ensure effective implementation of the Compliance Program, MLTFPP (Money Laundering and Terrorism/Proliferation Financing Prevention Program) Manual, and other regulatory issuances and internal policies.
  • Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Continuously monitor the implementation of the Compliance Program and promptly report and rectify any compliance breaches.
  • Self-Assessment and Testing:
  • Conduct Compliance Self-Assessment annually or as needed in accordance with the guidelines prescribed by the Compliance Department.
  • Conduct Compliance Self-Testing when necessary, following the procedures set by the Compliance Department.
  • Resolution of Findings:
  • Monitor the resolution of any outstanding findings or deficiencies identified through the Compliance Self-Assessment, Compliance Testing, BSP Examination, or Internal Audit Examination.
  • Coordination During Absence:
  • In the absence of other Compliance personnel or when ongoing activities are assigned by the Compliance Department, maintain close coordination with the Assistant Branch Compliance Coordinator (BCC) to ensure continuity.
  • Additional Functions:
  • Perform other functions or activities as may be assigned by the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO).
