Job Summary:

The Price Compliance Specialist will oversee pricing policy adherence, conduct audits, and enforce compliance through assertive communication with vendors. The ideal candidate will have a legal or paralegal background, retail e-commerce familiarity, and a results-driven approach to calling and emailing vendors, confidently conveying pricing policy violations and competitive market risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor competitor pricing online continuously to identify MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) violations.
  • Inform factory partners immediately upon detecting violations to ensure timely corrective action.
  • Manage a structured escalation process via follow-up emails:
  • Document all communications, including emails and phone call notes, and maintain resolution timelines.
  • Collaborate with the management team to escalate repeat offenders for potential sanctions or removal from authorized dealer lists.
  • Proactively call and email vendors, communicating assertively about violations and emphasizing compliance urgency due to competitors' monitoring.
  • Ensure all enforcement activities uphold pricing policy integrity and brand reputation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, Business, or a related field.
  • Legal or paralegal background with solid understanding of compliance, regulations, and pricing policies.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably within retail or e-commerce sectors.
  • Proven experience monitoring MAP violations and enforcing pricing policies.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a structured escalation and documentation process.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence and assertiveness to call and email vendors effectively.
  • Experience handling vendor or partner escalations and driving timely corrective actions.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail for audit tracking and compliance reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with e-commerce or marketplace tools.
  • Self-motivated, aggressive in pursuing compliance objectives, and comfortable working independently or collaboratively.
