Responsibilities:

1. Device Installation

· Install standard electronic devices such as GPS trackers, dash cameras, and telematics units in vehicles.

· Follow manufacturer specifications, installation guides, and company procedures to ensure quality and consistency.

· Secure devices neatly and ensure proper device orientation and visibility when applicable.

2. Wiring & Connectivity

· Perform basic electrical wiring tasks, including proper connection to Power source, Ground and Accessory (ACC) circuits

· Route and secure wiring for safety, minimal visibility, and long-term reliability.

3. Troubleshooting & Diagnostics

· Conduct initial tests to verify that installed devices are functioning correctly.

· Identify and resolve basic installation-related issues or wiring problems.

· Escalate complex technical issues to senior technicians or supervisors when necessary.

4. Quality Assurance & Documentation

· Verify installation completeness and document installation details (photos, serial numbers, work forms, etc.).

· Ensure work meets internal quality standards before turnover to clients or operations teams.

5. Safety & Compliance

· Adhere to all safety protocols during installation tasks, both in the workshop and on client premises.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of work tools and equipment.

6. Team Support & Learning

· Assist senior technicians in more complex installations or troubleshooting.

· Participate in training sessions and on-the-job learning to improve technical skills.

Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in installation, electronics, wiring, or technical support. Fresh graduates with internships or OJT experience may be considered).
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and wiring fundamentals.
  • Ability to safely and effectively use hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to work in the field and travel to client sites as required.
