Job Summary:

The Landscape Architect is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the development of outdoor spaces, including parks, gardens, residential areas, commercial centers, and other public spaces. This role combines artistic vision with environmental sustainability and functionality to create aesthetically pleasing and ecologically responsible designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare landscape designs, concepts, and presentations using software and hand-drawn techniques.

  • Conduct site analysis including soil, climate, vegetation, and topography assessments.

  • Develop site plans, planting plans, irrigation layouts, and construction details.

  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, and other professionals to integrate landscape architecture with overall project design.

  • Specify appropriate materials, plants, and construction methods based on site conditions and project requirements.

  • Monitor landscape construction to ensure adherence to design, schedule, and budget.

  • Address environmental concerns and promote sustainable landscape practices.

  • Revise designs based on stakeholder feedback and regulatory compliance.

  • Prepare cost estimates, technical specifications, and documentation for bidding and construction.

  • Conduct inspections and provide post-construction maintenance guidance as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.

  • Licensed Landscape Architect (if required by local regulations).

  • Minimum [X] years of professional experience in landscape design and site development.

  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite, GIS).

  • Knowledge of horticulture, construction methods, and environmental regulations.

  • Strong project management and communication skills.

  • Creative, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
