Your Role:

As a
Programmatic Media Strategist,
you will:

  • Own programmatic campaigns for assigned accounts, including updating media planning tools, managing campaigns in DSPs (Trade Desk, Google DV360, PulsePoint), and overseeing both self-service and co-managed partners.
  • Monitor and optimize campaigns on an ongoing basis to ensure strong delivery and performance.
  • Conduct research, develop strategies, and present innovative programmatic plans.
  • Manage media authorization, supplier interactions, and reconciliation.
  • Mentor junior staff on campaign execution and optimization.
  • Collaborate with creative agencies and production teams to manage campaign deliverables.
  • Produce post-campaign insights, reports, and presentations with actionable recommendations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with supplier partners and clients, negotiating favorable rates when possible.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, trends, and competitive insights to inform strategies.
  • Support senior strategists and supervisors with new business pitches.
  • Contribute to team-level initiatives including audience creation, AI-driven strategies, and preparing for the post-cookie future.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

  • Bachelor's degree with a 3.0+ GPA or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of media planning experience
  • Expertise in programmatic planning and optimization with hands-on experience in DSPs such as Trade Desk, Google DV360, and PulsePoint
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills in programmatic tools and platforms
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to represent the programmatic team during client status calls and reporting sessions

Preferred skills/expertise

  • Experience mentoring and coaching junior team members
  • Ability to negotiate with programmatic partners to secure favorable rates and makegoods
  • Experience crafting clear, data-driven insights and storytelling in campaign reports
  • Interest in building expertise across verticals such as pharma, eCommerce, retail, or B2B
  • Awareness of current events, media trends, and developments in the programmatic industry
