Application Support Analyst – Finance Systems

Job Summary:

The Systems Analyst will be responsible for supporting various software applications as well as performing periodic audit reviews, administrative tasks, and documentation creation.

Key Responsibilities:

Systems:

  • Support G-Treasury platform (Treasury Management System) including user permissions / set ups and queries, entity and bank account set ups, resolving systems errors, working with vendor and internal SMEs on systems improvements
  • Support FinPower platform (Loan Management System) including user permissions / set ups and queries, entity and bank account set ups, resolving systems errors, working with vendor and internal SMEs on systems improvements
  • Support SAGE X3 Platform including user permissions / set ups and queries, entity set ups, resolving systems errors, working vendor and internal SMEs on system improvements
  • Conduct user access reviews for internal purposes, on a 45-day basis
  • Conduct user access reviews for external purposes, quarterly
  • Prepare a Jira activity report for Head of Shared Services, monthly
  • Perform General Ledger (GL) account reviews for internal purposes, quarterly

Future Priorities

It is expected that as the individual gains sufficient knowledge capital across key software platforms, their responsibilities would expand:

  • Support FloQast (Period Close and Reconciliation Platform) Administration
  • Administer SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) library
  • Capture process workflows
  • Assist in modelling up data from Power Bi for management fee determination
  • Provide ad hoc support and analysis requested by the direct manager

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Operational experience with IT ticketing system (JIRA, Zendesk, Service No)
  • Able to interact effectively with both senior management and junior levels
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and able to think outside the box
  • Background in Financial Accounting
  • Knowledge of ERP and Accounting systems

Nice to Have:

  • Understanding of Treasury and Loan Management systems

The Analyst will report to the Senior Application & Systems Manager.
