Payables Associate

The Payables Associate is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the disbursement process for non-construction goods and services and maintaining proper financial control and recordkeeping.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices and supporting documentation for payment accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify vendor information and ensure compliance with purchase orders and contracts.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies on invoices before processing payment.
  • Analyze invoices for appropriate budget allocation and coding.
  • Process payments to vendors following established procedures and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of payables activity.
  • Reconcile accounts payable statements and identify any discrepancies.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures as needed.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles, in using SAP, and of statutory requirements (BIR-related like withholding taxes, etc.)
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Analytical, flexible, and can adapt quickly and work efficiently
  • Good English communication skills (verbal and comprehension)
  • Amenable to work onsite at Profriends Mandaluyong
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: From Php20,000.00 per month
