Engagement Duration: January 16, 2026 – June 16, 2026
The Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and supporting the finance team with day-to-day AP operations. This is an entry-level to junior role suited for candidates with foundational accounting experience who want to build their career in corporate finance.
Key Responsibilities- Process vendor invoices accurately and on time, ensuring proper coding and approvals
- Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents (where applicable)
- Validate supporting documents (billing statements, contracts, receipts) before processing payments
- Prepare and process payment runs (checks, online transfers, etc.) based on agreed payment terms
- Monitor AP aging and flag overdue or problematic accounts for review
- Assist with reconciliation of supplier statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams
- Maintain organized and complete AP records (digital and/or physical) in line with company policies
- Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable (accruals, reconciliations, reports)
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, and vendors to clarify invoice and payment issues
- Comply with company finance policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Graduate of Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or related course
- Preferably with 2–3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
- Basic understanding of accounts payable processes, invoices, and payment cycles
- Experience using accounting systems / ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar) is an advantage
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work the specified 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM shift and hybrid setup (Ortigas-based)
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
