Overview

The Planner is responsible for coordinating and managing daily operational schedules to ensure the efficient flow of inbound, outbound shipments and labor. This role ensures all appointments are accurately set, labor is strategically planned according to workload demands, and coverage is maintained across PST, CST, and EST shifts. The Planner plays a critical role in supporting routing, operational performance, productivity, and on-time service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and monitor comprehensive project schedules and align them with business objectives to ensure timely delivery.

  2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure resource availability and allocation.

  3. Conduct risk assessments and establish contingency plans to mitigate project risks.

  4. Regularly review and optimize planning processes to improve productivity and efficiency.

  5. Prepare detailed reports for senior executives to track project status and outcomes.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field.

  2. At least 2 years of experience in planning or project management roles.

  3. Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Gantt charts.

Preferred Requirements

  1. Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) is a plus.

  2. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth industry.

  3. Demonstrated ability to lead projects from concept to completion successfully.
