About the Internship:

We are looking for committed and accountable interns to support the various functions of PCX Markets. This role provides opportunities to contribute to meaningful projects, assist in day-to-day operations, and learn across different areas of the organization. As an intern, you will play an important role in helping teams achieve their goals while gaining practical experience, building skills, and bringing fresh perspectives that add value to our mission. Please note that this is an unpaid internship program focused on providing learning and professional development. Learning Opportunities:

1. Financial Documentation
   – Learn how to organize, label, and maintain invoices, receipts, and contracts while ensuring proper handling of sensitive records.
2. Transaction Processing
   – Build accuracy by entering financial data into ledgers and systems, reconciling transactions, and supporting accounts payable/receivable activities.
3. Audit & Compliance Support
   – Assist in preparing and organizing documentation for BIR and external audits, gaining exposure to compliance requirements.
4. Operational Support
   – Understand day-to-day finance operations by sorting and distributing financial correspondence and preparing outgoing payment documents.

Requirements:

• Passion for sustainable impact to end plastic waste
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Economics, or a related business course.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, perform accurate calculations, and interpret trends.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in completing financial tasks
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Spreadsheets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Learning Objectives:

Through this internship, you'll get real-world exposure to how a finance team works day to day. You'll sharpen your skills in organizing financial records, processing transactions, and supporting audits, while also learning how finance plays a key role in keeping a business running smoothly.

Work Arrangement - Hybrid:

This role will require a commitment of 20 (part-time) to 40 hours per week, with a minimum duration of 3 months. The Company offers a hybrid model, combining the flexibility of remote work with weekly office presence for team integration. Additionally, it involves essential in-person meetings for effective relationship building.
