Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management:Entering financial data into systems, scanning and filing documents, and maintaining organized records.
  • Financial Reporting:Assisting in the preparation of various reports, including budget reports, financial statements, and management review packages.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable:Processing invoices, tracking payments, and assisting with the billing of accounts.
  • Audit Support:Gathering documentation, pulling backup for expenses, and cooperating with internal and external auditors.
  • Financial Analysis:Analyzing financial data, identifying trends, reviewing expense details, and assisting with variance analysis.
  • Budget Support:Assisting in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and tracking resource utilization.
  • General Support:Performing ad-hoc analyses and other duties as assigned by the finance manager or team.

Essential Skills

  • Technical Skills:Proficiency in spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel, understanding of pivot tables and VLOOKUP, and basic knowledge of financial principles like budgeting and balance sheets.
  • Analytical Skills:The ability to gather, analyze, and interpret financial data to provide insights.
  • Organizational Skills:Meticulous attention to detail, neatness in documentation, and the ability to maintain well-organized records.
  • Communication Skills:Clear written and verbal communication to explain complex data and present findings to management.
  • Teamwork:The capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
