Business Systems Engineer

About the Role:

As the Business Systems Engineer , you'll be the go to for tech support and driving key system improvements. You'll lead our technical support team while developing custom applications, managing integrations, and ensuring our tech stack runs smoothly.

What you'll do:

• HubSpot Automation & Integration: Connect HubSpot with other systems to streamline marketing, sales, and operational data.
• Microsoft 365 Management: Manage the Microsoft 365 tenancy, including maintenance and the management of email accounts.
• SharePoint Management: Manage SharePoint permissions including handling change requests and implementing permission changes for the Home Office & the network. Maintaining and improving SharePoint sites and the internal Document Management System.
• End to End Development: Design, enhance, and support internal applications to boost operational efficiency and user satisfaction.
• Development Flexibility: Experience in any programming language is welcomed, as we value adaptability and problem-solving ability over specific technical stacks.
• API Development & Management: Develop, manage, and troubleshoot APIs to facilitate secure and efficient data exchange between platforms.
• Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation, improve system performance, and enhance overall tech functionality. Plus, assist with IT projects and implement system improvements to enhance functionality and support organisational needs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the business to ensure technology aligns with operational needs and business goals.
• IT Support: Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of IT issues faced by employees, including hardware, software, and network problems, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.

Who You Are:

• Tech-Savvy & Adaptable: Comfortable working with HubSpot APIs, and other cloud-based platforms.
• Analytical Thinker: Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and implement scalable solutions.
• Proactive & Self-Sufficient: Takes initiative, learns quickly, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
• Clear Communicator: Able to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Team-focused: You collaborate well, support your colleagues, and understand that great results come from working together.

What you'll bring to the table:

1. At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
2. Experience integrating HubSpot with other systems.
3. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and system architecture.
4. Background in automation, workflow optimisation, or cloud-based development.
5. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and support team members.
