The Qualifications We Seek:
- 5 to 7 years AU bookkeeping
- Advanced Xero (Advisor Cert), power-user in Dext, as well as key third-party apps such as Shopify, Deputy
- Proven complex reconciliations, cash-flow, multi-currency, inventory
- Strong Excel/Sheets (pivot, index-match)
- Clear written communication
- Diploma of Accounting or higher
Your Daily Tasks:
- End-to-End Accounts Payable
- Capture bills in Dext, code (GST, tracking), match POs, prep payment runs, reconcile AP ledger
- Code daily bank/PSP feeds; identify anomalies; send clear client questions
- Multi-currency wallets, inventory/COGS bridges, payment gateways
- Issue invoices, send statements, follow up overdue balances
- Post accruals/pre-paids, depreciation, FX revals; reconcile all balance-sheet accounts; lock period
- Prepare and lodge BAS/IAS; compile TPAR data
- Capitalise additions, run depreciation, reconcile to GL
- Configure/troubleshoot Xero apps
- Communicate clearly and promptly with clients via the Visory platform
