What We're Looking For

Experience:

• 1 to 3 years of hands-on Australian bookkeeping experience

Technical Knowledge:

• Hands-on experience using Australian bookkeeping platforms such as Xero, MYOB, QBO (AU setup) and Receipt Bank (Dext)
• Clear, working knowledge of Australian tax obligations, including GST, PAYG withholding, Payroll Tax, Superannuation Guarantee, and Return to Work
• Solid experience in Australian payroll processing, including employee entitlements and redundancy calculations
• Strong understanding of Australian bookkeeping workflows, reconciliations, and business reporting requirements

Your Key Responsibilities

• Process client bookkeeping and perform general maintenance of accounting balances
• Deliver agreed services to a defined set of clients with clear deliverables and deadlines
• Adhere to policies and procedures defined by the Bookkeeping Management Team
• Identify process improvements and opportunities to enhance service provided to clients
