Quezon City, National Capital Region, Philippines EMINENT WATER LABORATORY CENTER Full time ₱250,000 - ₱500,000 per year

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Use spectroscopy, spectrophometry, titration and gravimetric techniques to analyze samples to determine physical or chemical properties
  • Conducts water sampling as needed.
  • Attain and maintain complete understanding of all laboratory analysis procedures
  • Complete accurately all laboratory reports as required including but not limited to analyst report form, test reports, breakage report, inventory report, and other forms related in the laboratory.
  • Evaluate laboratory data and suggest treatment changes.
  • Maintain and update thorough and detailed laboratory procedures records and results.
  • Ensure conformance with government regulations and policies.
  • Prepare test solutions and reagents used in the laboratory to perform appropriate test.
  • Clean and maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, glassware to guarantee that it is working in order and troubleshoot any problems or issues that arise with laboratory equipment.
  • Order chemicals and other laboratory supplies weekly and keep a close watch on expiration dates to ensure quality control in the lab.
  • Performs other related duties as may be assigned to achieve respective department goals or for own personal or professional training, education or development as programmed by the immediate supervisor.

Job Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or other allied sciences.
  • With valid Chemist/Chemical technician license
  • With at least 1 year laboratory experience
  • Proficiency with computers and scientific equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Good presentation, documentation and reporting skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical skills.
