Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Chemist, located in Mandaluyong City near MRT Shaw Boulevard Station, with some acceptable work-from-home arrangements. The Chemist will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, ensuring quality control, performing analytical tasks, and engaging in research and development (R&D) activities. Daily tasks include analyzing samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, documenting findings, and collaborating with other professionals to drive innovation and improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and run
    lube oil analysis tests
    in accordance with
    ASTM and ISO standards
    .
  • Perform
    routine oil analysis tests
    and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Maintain and update documentation, including
    sample sheets
    ,
    results records
    ,
    instrument calibration logs
    , and
    maintenance logs
    .
  • Perform
    daily or monthly instrument calibration and standardization
    .
  • Develop, modify, verify, and validate
    analytical methods
    to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Monitor and report equipment due for maintenance to ensure timely servicing.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse for
    monthly stock monitoring (min/max levels)
    and
    oil disposal tracking
    , ensuring all disposed materials are properly tagged and documented.
  • Submit
    sample test results within the prescribed turnaround time
    .
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of test results and related administrative records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry
    or a related field.
  • Licensed Chemist or Licensed Chemical Technician
