Roving Teller

BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for performing routine and intermediate branch and customer services duties: accepts savings and time deposits; processes loan payments and releases; cashes savings withdrawals; assists with vault duties; promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services; Serves customers by completing account transactions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receives savings deposits by determining that all necessary deposit documents are in proper form;
• Cashes savings withdrawals; confirms all necessary documents are properly authorized, are in proper form and are within authorized limits;
• May assist in opening and closing the vault daily; assists in balancing vault currency and coin;
• Operates computer terminal or personal computer to process account activity, determine balances, and resolve problems within given authority;
• Issues cashier's check and corporate checks;
• Cross-sells the Bank's other products and services, referring customers to appropriate staff as indicated;
• Accepts loan payments;
• Balances cash drawer daily and verifies cash being received and transferred to the vault;
• Provides effective customer service and assists in resolving problems within given authority;
• Records, files, updates information and sorts' report as required;
• Fully understands opening/closing account procedures, as well as all other security procedures;
• Adheres specifically to all corporate policies and procedures;
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of any business-related course, Management or Finance
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• With excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
• With pleasing personality and customer oriented
• Able to work under pressure
• With motorcycle and driver's license
