JOB PURPOSE:

This job is responsible for updating and maintenance of provider network database (list and details of PhilCare-accredited hospitals, clinics and doctors) using ONE SYSTEM and in encoding of provider rates/informations, packing and sending official memos, LOAs, contracts and correspondences to providers (i.e. hospitals/clinics/doctors), verifying providers' affiliation status, following up status of proposal/draft contracts with requested providers, receiving official documents from providers, filing provider-related documents, PSVR, and maintenance of provider documents (contracts, official correspondences).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. ENCODING

  • Update and maintain accurate provider information in One-System (hospitals/ clinics, physicians, services and rates)

2. RECORDS MANAGEMEMT & DOCUMENTATION

  • Tracks encoded and to be encoded data in One-System
  • Provides summary of the correct data encoded to Assistant Manager (AM) and accomplishments on a daily basis for monitoring
  • Files received documents systematically (physical folders & SharePoint)

3. CORRESPONDENCES

  • Facilitates/coordinates sending of official correspondences (letter/memos) to providers through email or courier and calls to confirm provider to confirm receipt of such letters/memos.
  • Acknowledge email requests and send LOA forms in a timely manner
  • Acknowledge email requests for and initiate process of physician/provider accreditation for review of AMs/Managers
  • Acknowledge and process PSVR for approval of AMs
  • Acknowledge/address email/other concerns in the absence of AMs/Managers

4. ORIENTATION

  • May be tasked to orient/re-orient clinic providers by the Manager/s for Network Management to assist the SAM should the need arise (examples: due to absence/ leave/ unavailability of Network Management-SAM or Manager, need for simultaneous orientation of several providers in a given area and in a given limited time frame/ timeline such as during a provider-network expansion project or multiple requested providers from key accounts/clients existing, renewing or newly-acquired/ boarded accounts).

5. REPORTS AND OTHERS

  • Generate/Prepare reports as requested
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree graduate of any Allied Medical Course
  • At least one year of related work experience in an HMO industry; Fresh Grads are also welcome to apply
  • Proficient in Data Encoding and Analysis, Knowledge in Provider Relations and Accreditation
  • Good people and time management skills
