  1. Financial Reporting:

  2. Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

  3. Ensure the preparation and analysis of accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  4. Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.

  5. Compliance & Controls:

  6. Ensure adherence to internal control policies and procedures.

  7. Maintain compliance with local tax regulations, statutory filings, and corporate governance requirements.

  8. Accounting Operations:

  9. Supervise day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and payroll accounting.

  10. Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of accounting records.

  11. Process Improvement:

  12. Identify and implement opportunities for process automation, efficiency, and accuracy in financial operations.

  13. Lead or support finance transformation initiatives and system upgrades.

  14. Team Leadership:

  15. Manage and develop a team of accountants and finance professionals.

  16. Provide training and mentorship to ensure high performance and continuous development.

  17. Business Partnership:

  18. Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Business Units to support decision-making and provide financial insights.

  19. Support budgeting and forecasting processes with actuals and variance analysis.
