Position Summary: Data Scientist Supervisor {Business Intelligence & Data Analytics}

Location: Makati City and Pasay City

Full-time | Hybrid Work Setup | Office of the CEO

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead ETL/ELT development and manage large-scale data pipelines across multiple environments.
  • Oversee data modeling, warehousing, and governance to ensure high-quality, secure, and reliable datasets.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) that provide actionable insights for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Apply data science and analytics techniques to support financial and operational decision-making.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in Finance, Operations, Technology, and Business Development to drivedata strategy alignment.
  • Manage and mentor a team of analysts and developers to deliver high-quality output while fostering growth and capability-building.
  • Contribute to FinTech innovation projects, leveraging payments and transaction data to improve customer experiences.

Technical Skills

  • Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for modern data architectures.
  • Experience in ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale data integration.
  • Familiarity with Python for data manipulation, automation, and analytics workflows.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Exposure to data science and analytics methodologies (predictive models, statistical analysis).
  • Background in FinTech, digital payments, or financial services is highly preferred.

Non-Technical Skills

  • Excellent communication skills – ability to translate complex technical insights into business-friendly narratives.
  • Strong leadership with proven experience in people management.
  • Strategic mindset with customer-centricity and problem-solving orientation.
  • Purpose-driven, technology-enabled, and innovation-led approach.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 7–10 years of relevant experience, with 3–5 years in a leadership/supervisory role.
  • Experience in FinTech, banking, or payment systems a strong advantage.
