: Business Intelligence EngineerJob Summary:

  • The Business Intelligence Engineer is responsible in designing, setting up and delivering robust structured reporting to various business owners/stakeholders ensuring information accuracy and timeliness.
  • The role involves maintaining and managing reporting, dashboards and other BI soutions or data visualization softwares.

Role Exposure:

  • Contribute to the building of an end-to-end pioneer data science and advanced analytics team.
  • Exposure to intricacies and dependencies of data operations and machine learning models in a highly regulated environment.
  • Learn from analytics professionals, data scientists, data visualization experts, and banking domain leaders who will consume, analyze, and act on data made available to them.
  • Contribute to the building of an end-to-end pioneer data science and advanced analytics team who works on significant data projects that help shape the future of the bank.
  • This role prepares the successful candidate for complex technical or managerial roles related to the management and usage of data science models for banking decisions.
  • With deeper understanding of the business domain, this role can lead to data-driven roles in the Wealth and Commercial business units being served by the analytics team.
  • With deeper understanding of data structures, this role can also lead to more technical data engineering roles.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience of relevant Business Intelligence/Management Information Systems experience in a banking industry preferred
  • Proficiency in analytics and data visualization tools such as (but not limited to) SAS, Power BI, Tableau, SQL or Qlikview.
  • Experience in SQL database querying
  • Strong reporting skills to present insights concisely
  • Ability to self-direct, multitask and prioritize a constantly evolving workload
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with various technical and non-technical team.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with business stakeholders of varying seniority levels is an advantage
  • Nice to haves: Proficient in R, Python and other relevant scripting language
